Aktuell herrscht der Krisenmodus vor. Weltweit gibt es Ausgangssperren oder ausgerufene Katastrophenfälle. Und: ja, die Corona-Pandemie ist nicht auf die leichte Schulter zu nehmen, zumal sie so virtuell, nicht wirklich sichtbar ist. Regierungen beschränken die Ausgangsmöglichkeiten ihrer Bürger oder versuchen noch, an die Vernunft zu appellieren. All dem liegt die Erkenntnis zugrunde, dass die weitere Ausbreitung nur zu verhindern ist, wenn die Menschen - zumal sie tw. gar nicht wissen, dass sie infiziert sind - keine weiteren anstecken.
Was für die Gesellschaft gilt, gilt selbstverständlich auch für Golfanlagen in ihrer Eigenschaft als Sportanlagen und Plätze der geselligen Zusammenkunft. Daher sind sie bereits in vielen Ländern Europas von Staats wegen geschlossen. Nicht jede/r kann das nachvollziehen, kann man den Sport doch an der frischen Luft ausüben, auch einzeln.
Was ist aber mit dem Weg dorthin? Schnell noch geshoppt, getankt, beim Nachbarn vorbeigesehen und dann reichen nur kurze Worte mit Golfkollegen aus nächster Nähe und schon ist hier die Kette der möglichen Ansteckung unkontrollierbar. Daher das Gebot des "Zuhause Bleibens".
Was für Kunden gilt, gilt selbstverständlich auch für die Betreiber von Golfanlagen. Sekretariate und Gastronomien sind geschlossen. Saisonkräfte können nicht starten, tw. ist Kurzarbeit im Gespräch. Golfschulen müssen in Zwangspause. Greenkeeper arbeiten mit Notbesetzung, damit das gerade jetzt erstmals wieder richtig wachsende Gras im Zaum gehalten wird.
